According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 2.8% (sa) in January, 2023. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Citrus (4.4%), Sumter (4.3%), and Highlands (4.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (1.9%), Miami-Dade (1.9%), and St. Johns (2.5%).
