According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Georgia was 10.3% (sa) in April, 2011. Among all Georgia counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hancock (19.5%), Elbert (15.7%), and Taliaferro (15.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Oconee (6.7%), Columbia (6.8%), and Harris (6.9%).
