According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Idaho was 7.2% (sa) in December, 2008. Among all Idaho counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clearwater (14.7%), Adams (14.3%), and Shoshone (13.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Owyhee (3.5%), Franklin (3.8%), and Gooding (4.4%).
