According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Idaho was 8.2% (sa) in March, 2009. Among all Idaho counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Adams (21.4%), Benewah (20.8%), and Clearwater (19.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Owyhee (4.3%), Madison (5.7%), and Franklin (5.9%).
