According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 10% (sa) in September, 2010. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Winnebago (13.7%), Boone (13.1%), and Franklin (12.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (6.1%), Washington (6.5%), and Clinton (6.5%).
