According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 9.6% (sa) in April, 2011. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Grundy (12.4%), Kankakee (11.3%), and Ogle (11.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (5.6%), McLean (5.7%), and Woodford (5.9%).
