According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 9.9% (sa) in June, 2011. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Alexander (14.3%), Grundy (13.6%), and Pulaski (13.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Woodford (6.5%), Brown (6.6%), and Monroe (6.7%).
