According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 9% (sa) in April, 2012. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Grundy (11.2%), Alexander (11.1%), and Pulaski (10.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (5.3%), Woodford (5.4%), and Washington (5.7%).
