According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 9.2% (sa) in May, 2013. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Pulaski (12.4%), Alexander (12.2%), and Johnson (11.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washington (5.9%), Monroe (6.1%), and McLean (6.2%).
