According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 8.7% (sa) in November, 2013. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Pulaski (12.5%), Alexander (12.2%), and Franklin (11.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (5%), Washington (5.8%), and Monroe (6.2%).
