According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 8.1% (sa) in February, 2014. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Pulaski (12.9%), Alexander (12.6%), and Grundy (11.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (5.2%), Washington (6.5%), and McLean (6.5%).
