According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 8.4% (sa) in January, 2014. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Alexander (13%), Pulaski (13%), and Grundy (12.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (4.9%), Adams (6.4%), and Washington (6.5%).
