According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 4.6% (sa) in January, 2019. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hardin (9.3%), Pulaski (9.3%), and Johnson (9.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (3.2%), Washington (3.3%), and DuPage (4%).
