According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Indiana was 5.3% (sa) in July, 2005. Among all Indiana counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Grant (8.4%), Lawrence (8.3%), and Blackford (7.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (3.4%), Hendricks (3.7%), and Boone (3.7%).
