According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Indiana was 5% (sa) in April, 2006. Among all Indiana counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Orange (8%), Fayette (7.5%), and Randolph (7.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (3.1%), Daviess (3.3%), and Boone (3.4%).
