According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Indiana was 9.1% (sa) in September, 2011. Among all Indiana counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Blackford (12.5%), Fayette (12%), and Lawrence (11.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (5.7%), Dubois (6%), and Daviess (6.4%).
