According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Iowa was 3.9% (sa) in December, 2014. Among all Iowa counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cherokee (6.6%), Marshall (6.2%), and Tama (5.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lyon (2.2%), Story (2.4%), and Johnson (2.7%).
