According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 6.9% (sa) in April, 2007. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (15.5%), Montmorency (15.1%), and Presque Isle (13.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (4.5%), Kalamazoo (5.1%), and Eaton (5.1%).
