According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 13.1% (sa) in February, 2010. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (29.9%), Presque Isle (23.8%), and Cheboygan (23.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (8.1%), Clinton (9.1%), and Kalamazoo (10.3%).
