According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 11.5% (sa) in October, 2010. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Oscoda (16.7%), Baraga (16.6%), and Montmorency (16.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (6.9%), Mackinac (6.9%), and Clinton (6.9%).
