According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 10.2% (sa) in July, 2011. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Oscoda (17.9%), Montmorency (17.3%), and Roscommon (16.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (5.4%), Clinton (7.8%), and Washtenaw (7.9%).
