According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 10.1% (sa) in May, 2011. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Montmorency (16.9%), Baraga (16.6%), and Ontonagon (16.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Clinton (6.4%), Washtenaw (6.7%), and Mackinac (7.5%).
