According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 9.8% (sa) in October, 2011. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Oscoda (15.2%), Montmorency (14.6%), and Baraga (13.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Clinton (5.7%), Washtenaw (5.9%), and Mackinac (6.1%).
