According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 9.1% (sa) in May, 2012. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Montmorency (15.6%), Baraga (14.5%), and Oscoda (14.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Clinton (6%), Washtenaw (6.1%), and Ottawa (6.5%).
