According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 8.9% (sa) in March, 2013. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (24.5%), Cheboygan (19.1%), and Presque Isle (18.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (5.6%), Clinton (6.1%), and Ottawa (6.2%).
