According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 8.6% (sa) in September, 2013. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Oscoda (14.2%), Montmorency (13.9%), and Baraga (13.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (4.8%), Clinton (5.4%), and Washtenaw (5.6%).
