According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 7.7% (sa) in April, 2014. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Presque Isle (15%), Mackinac (14.3%), and Montmorency (14.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Ottawa (4.5%), Washtenaw (4.8%), and Kent (4.8%).
