According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 6.2% (sa) in December, 2014. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (16.7%), Cheboygan (13.3%), and Montmorency (11.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (3.6%), Ottawa (3.8%), and Kent (3.8%).
