According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 4.6% (sa) in December, 2017. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (18.6%), Cheboygan (15%), and Montmorency (11.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (2.9%), Ottawa (3%), and Kent (3.2%).
