According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 4.6% (sa) in December, 2021. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (12.8%), Roscommon (8.9%), and Cheboygan (8.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (2.9%), Ottawa (2.9%), and Livingston (2.9%).
