According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 6.5% (sa) in January, 2021. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (19.4%), Cheboygan (16.2%), and Roscommon (13%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (4.8%), Ottawa (4.9%), and Clinton (4.9%).
