According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 4.4% (sa) in January, 2022. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (18.3%), Cheboygan (14.3%), and Presque Isle (11.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (3.4%), Ottawa (3.5%), and Kent (3.7%).
