According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 3.6% (sa) in April, 2023. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (13%), Alger (10%), and Cheboygan (9.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Livingston (1.8%), Oakland (1.9%), and Macomb (2.3%).
