According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 3.7% (sa) in March, 2023. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (19.8%), Cheboygan (14.8%), and Alger (10.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Oakland (2.5%), Livingston (2.5%), and Ottawa (3.1%).
