According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Minnesota was 8.2% (sa) in June, 2009. Among all Minnesota counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clearwater (13%), Kanabec (12.1%), and Mille Lacs (11.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Wilkin (5.1%), Clay (5.1%), and Stevens (5.3%).
