According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Minnesota was 5.1% (sa) in May, 2013. Among all Minnesota counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clearwater (9.7%), Koochiching (8.6%), and Itasca (7.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Rock (3.2%), Stevens (3.4%), and Nicollet (3.6%).
