According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Minnesota was 3.5% (sa) in May, 2017. Among all Minnesota counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clearwater (7.7%), Koochiching (7.2%), and Itasca (6.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Traverse (2.1%), Rock (2.1%), and Stevens (2.2%).
