According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Mississippi was 8.7% (sa) in February, 2013. Among all Mississippi counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Issaquena (23.6%), Humphreys (19.3%), and Holmes (17.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Rankin (5.6%), Madison (6%), and DeSoto (6.3%).
