According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Mississippi was 8.5% (sa) in July, 2013. Among all Mississippi counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Jefferson (23.1%), Issaquena (22.2%), and Holmes (19.4%).
