According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Mississippi was 5.9% (sa) in July, 2016. Among all Mississippi counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Jefferson (19.9%), Claiborne (14.5%), and Holmes (13.4%).
