According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Montana was 3.4% (sa) in July, 2006. Among all Montana counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Glacier (7.1%), Roosevelt (7%), and Big Horn (6.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Sweet Grass (1.4%), Fallon (1.6%), and McCone (2%).
