According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 5.4% (sa) in April, 2005. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (16.9%), Mora (11.9%), and Guadalupe (7.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (2.7%), Union (3.7%), and Roosevelt (3.8%).
