According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.9% (sa) in August, 2012. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (16.4%), Torrance (10.7%), and Taos (10.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (4%), Union (4.1%), and De Baca (4.2%).
