According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 7.5% (sa) in May, 2021. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (16%), Lea (9.7%), and Taos (9.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (2.9%), Harding (4%), and Union (4.3%).
