According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.3% (sa) in September, 2021. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (12.2%), McKinley (8.3%), and Cibola (7.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (2.7%), Harding (4.7%), and Union (4.8%).
