According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 8.6% (sa) in July, 2010. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Bronx (12.3%), Oswego (10.6%), and St. Lawrence (10.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (6.4%), Yates (6.7%), and Tompkins (6.9%).
