According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 8.9% (sa) in March, 2010. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (13.4%), Bronx (12.3%), and Wyoming (11.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Tompkins (6.1%), Albany (7.1%), and Putnam (7.5%).
