According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 8.3% (sa) in February, 2011. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (13.1%), Oswego (12.4%), and Bronx (12.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Tompkins (6.3%), Albany (7.3%), and Nassau (7.4%).
