According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 8.5% (sa) in November, 2011. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Bronx (12.1%), Hamilton (11.7%), and Fulton (10.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Tompkins (5.6%), Saratoga (6.4%), and Nassau (6.6%).
