According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 8.6% (sa) in February, 2012. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (14.2%), Bronx (13.3%), and Oswego (12.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Tompkins (6.6%), Nassau (7.6%), and Albany (7.7%).
